Codes active in the PSTN
The Pooling Administrator has been running into problems
recently with NXXs where the
LERG Assignee has confirmed that the NXX has been activated in
the PSTN; however the
LERG Assignee does not have trunks in place. Once the other
block holders have reached their block effective dates, their
blocks do not work. This leaves the PA and block holders
scrambling to try to complete an expedited LERG Assignee change
in order to get the numbers up and running as soon as possible.
Please be sure that when confirming that an NXX is active in the
PSTN that all of your trunks are up and the code has been loaded
in NPAC. This will limit the number of problems that block
holders are encountering when activating their blocks from these
new NXXs.
