Single Block Request - Pool Replenishment
Status
To help assist in maintaining a six month inventory of available
blocks in the pool when you
are requesting one block in PAS, please review the Pool
Replenishment status. You can do this by clicking on the
View Pool Replenishment Status button on the top right
of the PAS Part 1A screen. It is important to review the
CO Code Demand section of the
Pool
Replenishment Status screen. The CO Code Demand section
shows how many CO Codes are:
- Needed: based on the current forecasted demand for
all SP who have forecasted a need for blocks in the next
6 month.
- NANPA: if a code request (pool replenishment and/or
LRN) has been submitted by an SP and suspended by the PA
is waiting for NANPA’s approval of a code assignment.
- In Queue: if a code request (pool replenishment
and/or LRN) has been submitted by an SP and has not been
processed by the PA yet.

If the CO Code Demand section shows that code(s) are needed and
you are able to open a code for pool replenishment please cancel
your single block request by scrolling to the bottom of the Part
1A screen and click the Cancel button. Next, from your PAS
toolbar select
CO/NXX Code Requests and click
on
New Code Request. When submitting your new
code request make sure to select
Full NXX for Pool
Replenishment as your
Type of Application.
If the CO Code Demand section shows that code(s) are
not
needed please continue filling out the Part 1A screen for your
single block request. If you are requesting more than one block
PAS will automatically instruct you, if you want to take blocks
from the pool only, blocks from a full CO Code, or a portion of
blocks from the pool and a code.
