Block Reservations
Block reservations can only be made for growth blocks. A
block reservation is made in cases
where a “safety valve” request is pending regulatory approval
and the user would like a specific block. A block may be
reserved for up to three months and the block reservation is
allowed to be extended an additional three months if the waiver
has not been acted upon.
When making the reservation, an SP shall provide a statement of
certification either on the Part 1A Remarks section in PAS or by
email/fax to the Pooling Administrator. This statement shall
include
1) the date the request for the waiver
was submitted to the state commission and
2)
the denial tracking number from PAS for the waiver request (if
available).
For more information on submitting a Block Reservation request
please see section 5.3.5, “Submit a New Block Reservation
Request (Growth Only)” of the PAS User Guide for SPs and SPCs.
