Change Order #11 is comprised of enhancements requested by the Numbering
Oversight Working Group (NOWG) as well as an enhancement requested by the
regulators.
The following enhancement affects the SP/SPC users:
A new “Copy Block Request” and a new “Copy Code Request” tool will be added to
PAS that will give SP/SPC users the ability to copy an existing new block
request or a new code request and modify the information as needed, and submit
the request as a new block request or a new code request. The “Copy Code
Request” tool will allow the user to only use tracking numbers that were
previously issued for the same type of application selected, e.g. if you select
Full NXX for Dedicated Customer as the application type, then you may only use a
tracking number from a prior Full NXX for Dedicated Customer request to copy.
The copy feature may only be used for new block requests and for new code
requests only, this feature is not available for any block/code modifications,
block/code disconnects or block reservation requests.
The following enhancement affects only the SP users:
A new field called “Designated Point of Contact for Reclamation” will be added
to the new user registration and user profile for the SP users only. The field
will provide the SP users with the option of adding up to two designated
point(s) of contact for the purposes of reclamation. The designated point of
contact that is entered must be a valid PAS user. If a designated point(s) of
contact is provided, this will be the only contact information provided on the
List of Overdue Part 4 Report that is provided to the regulators. If the
designated point of contact’s PAS User ID is inactive, or no designated point of
contact is provided, the contact information will be pulled from the user who
requested the block, or the user who last modified the block. If that user is no
longer active in PAS, then the system will provide contact information for all
users that are active in PAS who have the same OCN provided in their profiles
that is assigned to the block.
The contact information for service provider consultant (SPC) users used for the
purposes of reclamation will remain unchanged. The contact information will
continued to be pulled from the user who requested the block, or the user who
last modified the block
The following enhancement affects only the Regulatory
users:
The following changes will be made to the List of Overdue Part 4 Report that is
made available in PAS to regulatory users as well as the report that is
generated and sent to the regulators by the Reclamation Coordinator on a monthly
basis:
A new column titled “Pending Disconnect” will be added to the
report. This will allow regulators to see that a block disconnect
has been submitted (and has not been processed by the PA) at the
time the report is generated.
Three new columns will be added to the report titled “SP
Contact”, “SP Contact Email” and “SP Contact Phone”. This will make
the contact information readily available at the block level for use
in contacting service providers for purposes of reclamation.
